Boyce Volunteer Fire Company will be accepting SEALED bids for our former brush truck from April 15, 2024 to May 6, 2024. This amazing vehicle has only 19,000 original miles (yes, that is accurate)
This 1984 General Motors was formerly an Army pickup truck. While on Army duty it was known as a CUCCV. After its service as an Army truck, it was acquired by Mt. Weather to be its brush truck then came to Boyce Volunteer Fire Company around 2010.
The original 24vdc electrical system is intact. It has NOT been converted to a 12volt system. The aluminum bed & aluminum tool boxes convey. No emergency equipment will be left on the truck. The vehicle will be sold as is. Maintenance has been performed regularly and it runs and drives great.

Bids will be accepted between April 15, 2024 and May 6, 2024. The winning bidder will be notified by May 10 and financial arrangements will be made at that time.

Preservation and protection of property and lives during such fires and other disasters as may occur in the Town of Boyce and in the County of Clarke, Virginia and at such other places as the officers of the company may direct.
